Welcome to our wedding website. We've got a bunch of info here so you know what's happening on the day, a bit about the bridal party and more!
If you're on this website, we're so excited to share our wedding with you & would appreciate your RSVP so we can get all the planning done and dusted.

Our Story

How We Met

Andrew and I met on New Year’s Eve, 2021, at our mutual friends Laura and Martin’s party—he’d been friends with Martin for years, while I’d only recently met Laura (lucky me for scoring an invite - thank you Laura!). I spotted Andrew early in the night and started not so subtly asking around about him, and eventually we got talking. Our first kiss happened around midnight in the infamous egg chair on the balcony. We definitely overstayed our welcome—Laura gave up hinting at us to leave and just went to bed at 5am. Andrew and I wandered through Southbank, watched the sunrise, and then headed our separate ways. I called my parents from the walk back from the station, buzzing with excitement—I think I already knew something special had started.

The Proposal

Elsa had always mentioned that she wanted a low key proposal, and despite planning on lining up a proposal with a fancy dinner reservation, less than 24 hours after obtaining the ring, I caved! Elsa was curled up on the couch ready for a quiet night in, and I knew it was the perfect moment. I started crying as soon as I got down on one knee!

Wedding Party

Claire

Claire is still my little sister. She is one of the most tenacious, kind and generous people you'll meet. Claires love language is acts of service and if you invite her to your house, you'll find yourself being hosted in your own kitchen & she'll leave it cleaner than it was when she arrived!
Claire is a musician by trade (as "Charley") & I love watching her perform. It gives me goosebumps and shivers and a sort of pride-happiness like nothing else does. I don't think I can say I'm unbiased anymore...
Living in different states means we're in each others lives, but at a distance & one of my favourite things about my wedding is that it's something I get to do & share with her.

Melody

Growing up without close male relatives, I always wondered who I would one day pick as my best man, until one day I realised that I couldn't imagine anyone other than my darling sister standing beside me as Elsa walks down the aisle. With a shared love of Pokémon and not taking life too seriously, I'm ecstatic to have Melody as the lead member of my party!

Zoe

Zoe is my cousin and almost sister. She is kind, silly and loving and always there to support her people. Even though we've always lived interstate, it somehow feels as though we've grown up together. I've had so many firsts with Zoe - wearing my first heels, dressing up, wearing makeup and my first night out, just to name a few. We've shared so many major life events & I'm so excited to add my wedding to the list.

Liam

Liam and I met at Melbourne High School, first in Air Force Cadets, then later our friendship solidified as we both joined the Lawn Bowls team, where we managed an impressive 3rd place at the RVBA's all schools pennant. Representing my high school friend group 'The Bailers', I'm so exited to share this day with him and the gang!

Sarah

I met Sarah when I first moved out of home to Brisbane. We match each others 'weird' in just the right way and shared some of my most favourite 'life' years while we lived together in Darra. We've had many a piano sing along, wine and oven food nights, movie nights at Blue Room and countless pilates workouts (every day at 6am for 3 years). Since I met Sarah, I've always admired her determination & persistence (she's done a phd & a masters omg), her intelligence and the way she cares about the people around her. We live in separate states now, but she will always be a treasured friend and I'm so excited to do wedding things together!

Chris

The day I interviewed for my first real job, I never could have imagined that the random intern I was being introduced to would be my future housemate and lifelong friend. It almost makes the 10 years spent being underpaid by a soul-less defence contractor worth it! Almost.

Monica

Monica and I have been friends for 19 years since we met in our year 6 class in 2006. I honestly think it's because I just wouldn't leave her alone when I realised that we matched each others strange sense of humour, love for cats and love of dancing. She is disappointed by my decisions to this day.
The influence Monica has had on my life is pretty major, from swapping to the dance school she went to, supporting me through maths, lording her lack of need to study over me and teaching me not to care about what others thought. I'm so excited to get to add this day to the lengthy list of life events we get to do together.

Marty

Martin introduced me to the two things I love most in the world, Elsa Howell, and the Melbourne Victory Football Club, in no particular order. The most generous person I know, I couldn't be more thankful to have Martin in my life.

Laura

Laura and I met almost 5 years ago in Melbourne, when we were all coming out of covid lockdown. I was immediately drawn to her calm confidence and dry sense of humour. She is the reason I know Andrew! With a shared love of mini-getaways, girls nights and many a d&m, Laura is someone I can't imagine doing my wedding without & I'm so excited to have her there on the day.

Meet the Ring Bearers

Barbie

Not happy to settle for anything less than being the sole centre of attention, this Barbie is sure to steal the show. One of the sweetest beings to grace the planet, welcoming Barbie into the family was a magical day for the both of us.

Sora

We say Sora is the dog for us and Barbie is the dog for the public haha. We get to see a different version of her to what others do and we love that about her. She is a spicy, focused and zoomy little lady, and at the same time, she loves a snuggle and a snooze with her paws up in the air. At our wedding I'm fully expecting her to run at me and launch herself up on my dress so here's hoping she has clean paws on the day!

Getting to Yering Station

38 Melba Highway
Yering VIC 3770
Public Transport Victoria has regular trains heading to Lilydale Station in the Yarra Valley. From Lilydale Station, catch a McKenzies bus to either Yarra Glen or Healsville depending on where you're staying.
Once in the Yarra Valley, you can order a taxi or Uber to get to Yering Station.
Driving or Car hire is likely the simplest option to get to Yering station. The venue has plenty of parking for guests and cars will be safe if left overnight.
We have also organised shuttle hire from/to Melbourne's CBD. Please let us know if this would be a convenient option for you.

Wishing Well

We truly don't expect anything beyond your wonderful selves on our wedding day. We know it's already a big commitment to travel and for many, to stay overnight, so there is no expectation of a gift at all.
If you wish you contribute, however, we would very much appreciate a wishing well donation. It will likely go towards painting & replacing the weatherboards on our house!
